Assin Manso Slave River
Ancestral river park where enslaved Africans took their last bath before the march to the coast.
At Assin Manso, enslaved Africans were made to bathe in the Donkor Nsuo river before being marched to the coastal forts. The memorial park includes the river, a wall of remembrance, and the graves of two former slaves whose remains were returned from the Americas.
